Theater production VON SPRACHLOSER LIEBE

again, theater director CORINNA SOMMERHÄUSER engaged me soundwise for an ALTONALE//THALIA THEATER production, this time dealing with the issue of bilateral relationships between german and turkish peeps. the great play recieved the BIENNALE DIRECTOR'S AWARD for a reason: it reveals so many touching fragments of a crashed relationship, which have their origin in the cultural differences, man-and woman differences and differences in vision and dreams of a good marriage/partnership. because you get those fragments and images flashing in front of your eyes, the play never gets too boring or too 'kitschig', but there are also framing and stabilizing elements of the performance, like a group of commenting viewers in the back of the stage, which makes it a very understandable, touching piece of art. i really enjoyed to see Ercan Altun and Nora Decker acting in full effect with a great palette of emotional variety.
